Norquay Grade Seven Recorder Ensemble

The Overseas Tour

On a sunny day in  late June, the Grade Seven Recorder Ensemble travelled overseas (well, we were on a ferry) to Victoria. Unfortunately we forgot to bring our instruments so we had no choice but to party all day. We met at Norquay at 5:45 a.m. and Mr. Parker drove the 17 passenger van to the ferry. We arrived in Victoria at about 9:30. We spent some time in the Provincial Museum, saw the IMAX show and went to Beacon Hill Park for lunch. Then we went to the beach. All too soon it was time to go home. We caught the 5:00 p.m. ferry and drove up to Norquay School at 7:15. A great day!
