In
Social Studies this term we are learning about maps. We are learning about
different types of maps, what they are used for, and what the symbols on
them mean.
We
have learned that maps are used to find places and show different types
of information like population, fisheries, forestry, transportation, and
even history.
We
have made our own maps of a city showing places people might like to visit
when they go there. We had to draw a map with streets and symbols in a
legend.
