This morning all the grade 3 students got to
go down to the library and the best players
from the CFL BC Lions came to visit us. They
read 2 stories. One of the stories was called
The Night I Followed My Dog. The other was
called The True Story of the Three Little
Pigs. Timothy won a lunch box that they had
signed. It was fun meeting them. |
Today the BC Lions football team came to read
to us. They read The Day I Followed My Dog and
The True Story of the Three Little Pigs. The
BC Lions were here to show us reading is
important. Their numbers in football are
eighty-one (Geroy Simon) and ninety-five
(Cameron Legault). They gave every single
grade three class a lunch box and one got a
doll signed and everything. We had a draw. The
winners were Courtney and Timothy. Timothy got
the lunch box and Courtney got a poster. |

This morning some players for the BC Lions
came to read to all of the grade 3s. They read
The Night I Followed My Dog and The True Story
of the Three Little Pigs. I thought that those
were very good stories. I never knew about the
BC Lions before. I thought it was cool becasue
I don't watch football but my Grandpa does.
Maybe I'll ask him if he watches the BC Lions.
If he does maybe some time we could watch it
together. |
This morning the B.C. Lions came to visit our
school. They read the grade threes stories The
first story was The True Story of The Three
Little Pigs. The books were great. I like
reading. Reading is fun. Everyone needs to
read. Go to the library and check out
books. |
