On February 27, Division 24 celebrated the 100th day of school. We brought collections of 100 objects. We brought 100 rocks, cherrios, stars, pennies and many other things. Carmen brought 100 grapes. We ate the grapes. We put 100 stars on a cake. Then we added hundreds more and ate it. We made chains with 100 links. We made a farm and a rocket ship with 100 things. We flipped a penny 100 times and predicted if heads or tails would win. We made a list of what we'd buy with $100.00 and drew a picture of what we'd look like when we turned 100 years old. We had fun! |
