On May 11, Anka and I went to Douglas School to meet the author, Linda Bailey. Every year, the principals and vice principals select a book and give it to each school. This year's book was "Stanley's Wild Ride". It talks about a dog that finds a skateboard lying on the street. Stanley sniffed it with his nose and decided to ride it. His other friends found other things too, like a roller skate, a shopping cart, a bicycle and a wagon. It was the most exciting time he ever had. After Linda Bailey read the story, we had juice and cookies. by Crystal Su Division 11
