Farewells

At their breakfast meeting on Friday, June 30, the Norquay staff said a fond farewell to
five colleagues.  Some have been at Norquay School for many years and some for only
a short time, but all have contributed towards making our school one of the best in the province.

Mrs. McIlwaine has taught at Norquay for 34 years. As well as being a superb classroom teacher, she
led excellent gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and dance groups..
If you were in the Norquay Gym Club, you know how very lucky you were to know Mrs. McIlwaine.

Mr. Beriault taught grade four classes at Norquay for many years. Students always enjoyed being in his class
because he did so many interesting things in science. We will all miss him.

We have been very fortunate to have Mr. Nomm as our school counsellor. He has been a great help to
students and families when they need someone kind and caring to talk with.

Ms Faubert taught the Jr. Communications class this year.

Ms Lemmon has been at Norquay as a
Resource Teacher since January.

Ms Hon took over Mrs. Emperador's kindergarten class
when she went on maternity leave.
