| On Monday, it was our fieldtrip and we were going to the beach. We took the big orange Cardinal buses. They took forever to leave! The beach we were supposed to go to was Kitsilano Beach, but instead we went to Second Beach because it had a covered area. At Second Beach, the first thing we did was go to the playground. Then it was snack time. Then we played Goldrush and the boys won 2 times. Then we went to the beach. We built sand castles, and looked for seashells. Others played with their water guns and played games in the sand and in the ocean. I found a barnacle on the beach. Next, it was time for lunch. We went up to the covered area, because it started to rain. Everyone changed and went to the field to play games. Others went to the playground with the firetruck. We played Goldrush again to warm up. Then it was time to go home. Just in time, before the sky opened up and showered heavily! By Albert and Cavin Div. 16 |
